Well, my mother told me she could never get anything out of me other than picking flowers. How I got busted was my grandmother seen me outside of school during school hours and not on recess. We only lived a couple of blocks away from the school, and that spring before classes let out, she let me walk on my own since she had been so many times with me and followed me in the car for a week. She said I would leave on time and always came home on time. She had no clue until Grandma told and then she called the school. She said they gave her a list of days I had not been there in the few weeks prior too. The school never called or anything. But, you have to remember this was almost 35 years ago now.
