what help is being given

Everytime there is an earthquake , hurricane or some other disaster in another country , you see on the news that the United States is sending money and help. Is there any help being sent to us now? Between the hurricanes in New Oreleans and Texas , there are alot without anything now. Alot destroyed. Is any country offering thier help?

AND! If not now in the past whom has helped and in what situation? Did we get help in when the twin towers was destroyed?

Cher, I don't think we have had any help from anyone. If so, the only one I can think of that might of done anything would be Britain. But, why are we continually helping all the others out when we STILL have not even gotten all of our disasters cleaned up and fixed. I know these other places need aide too, but why does no one return the favor at all to us? Why are the Americans responsible for the entire world? Why do we not have enough funding to clean up our own disasters and rebuild? Why is it 7 years later and ground zero is still nowhere near completion?

exactly.and some katrina victims are still without homes. Its a mess. Scarey to think of what is to come.

That is why we need a president that will make sure Americans are taken care of first? Yes it is nice to be able to help other countries, but I think our own should be taken of first!

well teddy I hope we get a president that starts thinking about the social aspects of the united states , we have been neglected for too many years as is. If something dont change we are doomed , the rich will get richer and the poor will get poorer.

Isn' that the TRUTH! We need someone who is willing to look out for the interests of all people in this country. Someone who is willing to make America strong again, so that we can help out in other places if needed. Right now, all of our funding and military is pread too thin across other nations and not enough concentrated here at home. I guess some think it is better for us to look good on the outside while the core is rotting away. I say take care of your core, and your core will take care of the outside!
