2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Cinnamon
1 Cup Salt
1 1/2 Cups Warm Water

Mix flour, salt and cinnamon together. Add water gradually and knead until and form into a ball. If dough is too dry, add water. If it is too sticky, add flour.

Roll out dough onto waxed paper about 1/4" to 3/4" thick. The thicker the dough the longer the drying (cooking time).

The cinnamon dough is a darker brown while the other is a white and the contrast makes for a beautiful Christmas wreath or candy cane. No need to paint these ones as they look great on their own.

Place Christmas shaped cookie dough ornaments into oven and bake. Depending on oven temperature the time will vary. For the rolled shaped ornaments, it is better to lower the temperature for a slower drying time to prevent cracking.

This recipe smells great while cooking and adds such a nice natural color to the ornaments. We mixed and matched our traditional salt recipe with this cinnamon recipe for some really neat cookie dough ornaments.
